Women are an essential part of the mining industry, bringing diverse perspectives, innovation, and leadership to a traditionally male-dominated sector. At our organisation, we are committed to promoting inclusivity, equal opportunity, and the empowerment of women across all levels of mining.

We recognise the valuable contributions women make—from technical and operational roles to leadership and decision-making positions. By fostering a supportive and respectful work environment, we aim to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create pathways for growth and advancement.

We are equally committed to addressing and preventing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in all its forms. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discrimination, and abuse, and actively promote a safe, secure, and dignified workplace for all employees. Through awareness initiatives, clear reporting mechanisms, and support systems, we strive to ensure that every individual feels protected, respected, and heard.

Through mentorship, skills development, and advocacy, we aim to inspire the next generation of women to pursue careers in mining and to thrive within the industry. We believe that a more inclusive and safe mining sector is not only fairer, but also stronger, more innovative, and better equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
